VILLA MONVUE

Villa Monvue sits quietly among vineyards in the green heart of Istria. From the living and dining area with its gas fireplace, you look straight across to Motovun, the medieval town on the hill opposite. This is a place for families and friends to spend relaxed days in nature, with plenty of privacy and yet close to everything Istria has to offer.

Wine starts right next door: the Fakin winery is our direct neighbour and offers vineyard tours. Below the villa lies the Motovun forest, one of the few places in the world where the white truffle grows. Motovun old town is 3 km away, and the truffle village of Livade ten minutes. At the foot of Motovun runs the Parenzana, a former railway line that is now a popular cycling trail. And the nearest beach on the Adriatic is only 28 km away.

A special extra: you can check in from 1 PM and check out as late as 1 PM, or earlier and later by arrangement. That gives you almost a full extra day of holiday by the pool.

With four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, Villa Monvue sleeps up to nine guests. It suits two or three families travelling together, several generations on holiday, or a group of friends.

Outside, you will find a private heated pool and a large garden (800 m²) with natural shade, room for volleyball and football, and a climbing frame for younger guests. On the terrace, with its gas barbecue and outdoor TV, evenings come to a relaxed end.

The open kitchen is equipped so that several families can easily cook together, with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a bread maker, an ice maker and much more. Ideal for bringing the region's truffles, wine and olive oil to the table.

The multi-purpose room adapts to your needs: a desk for working from home, a spinning bike and fitness equipment for a morning workout, a large TV, table football, and board games and a PlayStation for children and teenagers.
